Store between 60º and 65°F, away from humidity. Shelf life: Our solid chocolate will remain fresh for 4 - 6 months, and our truffles will stay fresh for 2 - 3 months if stored properly.

Shipping
We recommend purchasing Route Insurance, especially during the summer months. Standard carriers do not cover perishables for any reason. They will reimburse you for the shipping cost only if it's lost. We are not responsible for stolen or melted chocolate if you choose not to purchase Route. All orders are shipped Monday through Thursday during warm months and Monday through Friday during cooler months.
Processing time: 1 - 2 business days. However, we do our best to ship as early as possible, weather permitting.
Expedited Shipping: The cut-off time is 3:00 p.m.
Temperature Conditions: To keep your chocolate from melting, we double box with insulation & use ice packs. If the destination city is more than 2 days away and the temperature is 80 degrees or more, please select 2-day or overnight shipping.
Claims: Damaged packaging must be reported via email with pictures on the same day you receive it. Retain the packaging.
I used to go to the old store on Fifth Avenue and get my favorites, caramel bouchee´s and the dark dipped candied orange slices. It's been years so I got a box and went through it like a wood chipper. Need. More.

I love orange and chocolate and have bought similar products from other chocolatiers in the past. But I have to say, this is the best by far! The orange is candied perfectly and the dark chocolate is a perfect contrast. I can eat these things like potato chips!
